Introduction

This command enables users to review and modify attribute data assigned to individual survey strings directly within the drawing.

To review and edit multiple strings with Data tables attached, refer to the Table Viewer command.

About Attribute Data, Data Tables and Schemas

Additional (Attribute) data can be attached to COGO Points and Survey Strings through the creation of a Project Database. 

The Project Database enables the addition of Data Tables to points and strings.  Data Tables contain fields of data and are contained in a Schema. 

The Schema Editor can be used to create saved collections of Data Tables that can be copied into a local drawing (the Project Database).  To append attribute data to points and strings, users must run the Setup Project Database command.

 

Details

Upon selecting the comand prompt will require selection of a COGO Point in the drawing that connects to a String.  The following form is displayed:

Select String	Choose a survey string in the drawing to edit. This opens the Table Editor for that object
Table Editor	A pop-up form that displays all attributes for the selected string. Allows value changes per field
Change Table	Changes the schema table associated with the selected string. Useful if the feature was misclassified
[Field and Data List]	Shows each field where users can enter or modify data.
Save	Temporarily stores changes made in the Table Editor until confirmed
OK	Confirms all edits and applies them to the selected string
Cancel	Discards any unsaved changes and closes the Table Editor
