Introduction

 

Once a Point Cloud has been imported into Model Viewer, users can generate a Civil Site Design Surface using this data. A Civil Site Design surface can consist of up to 2 million points, so if you are working with a very large Point Cloud than it is recommended that you filter the data prior to creation of the TIN surface.

On selecting the Create Surface command, a dialog box will display. This dialog box allows the user to specify whether a new surface will be created or an existing surface will be updated.
